Loving Jesus, Each Other, and All People. That’s our Mission at Gracious Savior. Simple and true. We look at our resources, our time and place, and our strengths and gifts with that mission in mind. All our events, groups, and programming are designed to fit into one of those three categories.
This page is all about our ministries and the mission behind them, if you want to see the current meetings, studies, and special events available right now, visit the Home Page.
We love Jesus by connecting with His love and with His word. We are dedicated to developing a relationship with him full of love, trust, grace, and a deep desire to follow Him in every area of our lives. We live that out through Sunday Worship, Bible Study, and other Discipleship-Oriented events and groups.
Our Worship Service includes meaningful music, Bible-based sermons that unashamedly proclaim the Gospel, and the opportunity to take Communion every Sunday.
We have a Bible Study or adults, though teens are also welcome, most Sunday’s at 11 am, about a half hour after the service ends. It’s academic, casual, accessible, and digs as deep as possible into the nuance and messages of God’s Word.
Every Tuesday we release a Podcast discussing the previous Sunday’s sermon and Bible verses. It’s available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
We pre-record the Sermon every Thursday, and then release it Sunday morning, and send an email on Sunday afternoon so that anyone traveling or homebound can still enjoy God’s Word and feel like a part of the community.
While we always have our eyes on Jesus, we still live in a lonely world. We are called to love our neighbors and those in our community. We want to build up shared experiences and bonds of trust with each other. We do so through groups and events designed to increase the sense of fellowship and community within our church, and outside of it. This looks like seasonal small groups, special events, and community building experiences.
On the first Sunday of each month, we have a special time of gathering for families with kids at our playground! Enjoy free lunch, and fellowship right after church, anyone is welcome, kids are appreciated.
Every Sunday we have Kid’s Church. Halfway through the service our Kids Church Teacher takes kids 4 years old to 10 years old and teaches them a Bible Lesson, shares Prayer with them, plays fun games, and gives out prizes. The kids keep coming back, and are slowly building a foundation of faith for years to come.
Our Youth Group is for kids in both Middle and High School! Josh and Matt both run this group, making sure that every kid gets the attention and guidance they need to live in their relationship with Jesus and live out their faith. We meet at 6:30 on Wednesday nights during the school year, and have special summer events.
Our young adults group meets on Tuesday nights at 6 pm. We catch up on life, enjoy a meal, and then spend time studying God’s Word, using the previous Sunday’s sermon as a guide. Matt hosts at his apartment, so please be sure to RSVP to him before you come.
Our Prayer Group meets Wednesdays at 3 pm in our beautiful lobby to share each other’s lives, and develop the skill of Prayer. Prayer requests are taken, and Scripture and Book Studies give all of the members a new tool every week to apply to their prayer life.
Both on church grounds and out in the community, we want to get engaged in service. But each project is more than just an exercise in craftsmanship; it’s an opportunity to grow closer together, and make memories.
If we don’t eat, we don’t meet! We host Potlucks, special events, and community building meals and entertainment regularly.
Mission Trips, Outreach Programs, and Kids Camps. We don’t want to keep the love of Jesus to ourselves. We want to share it with the people around us. Even and especially if they don’t yet know or see the Love of God.
Besides the recurring events listed below, we also have outreach groups, special small groups that are seasonal, a food and emergency clothing bank, as well as many other services offered to our community.
We host Griefshare seasonally, open to anyone in the community, led by seasoned volunteers, professional pastors, and chaplains. When we are in session we meet at 6:30 PM on Wednesday nights.
We take an annual mission trip to Argentina every Fall to help teach children, build up community and support a missionary in the area that we are personally connected with.
We have a food and clothing bank ready to meet the needs of people in our community going through emergencies.
The Summer Games is an open invite Kids Camp the first week of August. Kids can sign up ahead of time or just show up, and
